We are delighted to announce that MV8 Football Academy player Luis Almeida has signed a semi-professional contract with a Madrid based side who play their football in Liga Preferente.
An agreement had initially been made to accept Luis for a months trial, however after the 1st week of training they had already decided to sign Luis on a permanent basis. The trial was first made possible thanks to the work of Alberto Martin Casas who is our main reference point in the Madrid region.
After 3 years at the MV8 Academy, Luis has developed and matured his game to another new level with great thanks to his hard work and perseverance.
As an academy, one of our main objectives is to develop players to achieve their dreams and become a professional football player. This can only truly be achieved through the players own hard work and desires to want to push oneself physically and mentally on a daily basis.
